Spring Fest Was a Great Success!

With a new venue and an expanded line-up of entertainment, we weren't sure how this was all gonna go... And it really surpassed our expectations! The food from La Fuente's was great... I'm getting hungry just thinking about it! The entertainment was varied, talented (of course), enthusiastic, dynamic, fun, spontaneous, what more can we say? You need to go see these guys whenever and wherever they are in town (or wherever YOU are).

Announcing An Old West Adventure!

Just Announced! - An Old West Adventure in the Cowboy Capital of the World!
In June we will be offering a 4 day, 3 night Adventure. "An Old West" Adventure!
When: Friday, June 1 - Monday, June 4th
Where: Silver Spur Ranch in Bandera, TX. (Not too far away) www.silverspur-ranch.com
We'll stay at the ranch, ride horses twice a day (optional) swim, play recreational games, have campfires and s'mores :-), hike and explore, have hay wagon rides, etc. We'll learn all about what it was like to live in the old west!  
Cost: $50 non-refundable deposit
Deposit due: April 23rd  
Total cost will be paid from our fund raising efforts, so it will be important for all going to participate in the Spring Fest fund raiser on May 19th. Help get silent auction donations, sell tickets, etc.  
If you are interested in having your child participate in our Old West Adventure, RSVP ASAP so that we can reserve rooms. If you could reply by next Wednesday, April 11th, I would appreciate it. This should prove to be a really FUN experience with friends!

Saturday, April 14 - Picnic at Lady Bird Lake, 10:00-4:00
Monday, April 16 - Adventurers Meeting after bowling.

Garage Sale is at Dawson Elementary!

You can plan on bringing stuff to Dawson after 3:00 PM. We'll organize and price it all that afternoon and evening and have it ready on tables to pull out and set up Saturday morning, about 5:00 AM. We'll be ready for early shoppers.

The sale on Saturday will run 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
